Thanks! I did use several footprint photos as reference material but that's all. Most of the photos on the Moon were taken by Armstrong himself (as he was known to be the better photographer) but I hope it still provides the appropriate message. :)

If you had used the original photograph I'd have pointed out that actually that's Buzz Aldrin's boot print. ;)

I love the details in this though - there's almost a photographic quality to it. Plus I like how the drop shadow on the text matches the light in the picture.

Thanks Rob, it took some time as I've never really had to think about a logo for myself but I'm happy with the end result and hopefully I can create a decent online space for myself now.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I knew I'd left a few of those out there but his older work in particular is the style that sticks in my memory.

Yeah it's such a shame they resort to as you so aptly put it 'shiny happy cookie cutter garbage' when there's so much talent out there ready to create a fantastic piece of artwork for a film.
